This mounting tape consists of a black, closed-cell polyethylene foam which is coated on the open side with a permanent, modified polyacrylate adhesive. The modified acrylate adhesive has very high shear strength and very high initial adhesion as well as very good adhesion to low energy surfaces. The covered side is coated with a solvent pure acrylate adhesive which guarantees an excellent temperature resistance, high final strength and resistance to plasticizers, acids, leaches and solvents. To allow an easy release the covered side is equipped with a PET-interlayer.
