Temperature Resistant Masking Tape for Spray Painting with Subsequent Oven-drying up to 120 °C / 248 °F tesa® 4309 is comprised of a fine crepe paper backing and a natural rubber adhesive system. The fine crepe, conformable and flexible paper masking tape is suitable for spray-painting applications, with subsequent oven-drying up to a temperature of 120 °C / 248 °F. The flexible masking tape is resistant to wet sanding and features excellent adhesion to various surfaces like metal, rubber, glass and plastic. The excellent adhesion of fillers or paints (water- or solvent-borne) to the reverse side of the tape prevents any kind of paint flaking. After the oven drying process with temperatures up to 120° C / 248 °F, tesa® 4309 can be easily removed without tearing and without leaving any residues. The tape is ideal for care body repair masking applications.
