Tesa 4965 Double-Sided Polyester Film Tape is coated on both sides (AKA double-coated) with a transparent modified acrylic adhesive with a red polyester liner. This double-sided tape has high shear and temperature resistance to 392F short-term and 212F long-term. The reliable bonding characteristics of Tesa 4965 make it an ideal choice for low surface energy substrates. With Tesa double-coated polyester film tape you can achieve very high binding strength immediately after assembly. This double-sided tape is used for the most demanding applications including heavy stress, high temperatures, or critical substrates. It is a good choice for mounting and bonding applications in every industry. Product applications include used for critical and demanding bonding and mounting applications, mount injected molded ABS plastic parts from the automotive industry, self-adhesive mounting of synthetic rubber (EPDM) products, used for moldings, and other decorative features in furniture manufacturing and assembly, adhering battery packs, lenses, and touch-screens in electronic devices, mounting and bonding in the appliance industry, and more.
